Bac Ninh: Establishing a Task Force to support taxpayers in resolving administrative procedures

According to the assessment of the Tax Department of Bac Ninh province, implementing the 2-level local government model and converting the Tax Department's model from July 1, 2025, in the first phase, the workload of the Tax Department to be resolved is very large, especially for basic taxes. Although there has been propaganda and mobilization, many people still do not have the habit of using electronic applications in declaring, paying taxes and performing tax administrative procedures. On the other hand, many people are still hesitant to install electronic applications on mobile devices for fear of being scammed...

In order to overcome the above difficulties and obstacles, the Tax Department of Bac Ninh province has launched a peak period of propaganda and guidance for taxpayers; from August to the end of 2025. Accordingly, the unit has established a Taxpayer Service Team, consisting of 34 civil servants with the core being youth union members.

The main task of the Shock Team is to propagate, mobilize and guide taxpayers to install and use electronic tax applications in performing tax administrative procedures; standardize tax registration information... and answer other questions, if any, when requested by taxpayers to create a spreading effect and positive response in the community.

Currently, the Shock Team has divided into many small groups to directly propagate, guide and support taxpayers in the areas of 4 wards which were the former administrative centers of Bac Giang and Bac Ninh provinces before the merger. As a result, from August 18 to now, the Shock Team has propagated, supported and guided more than 4,000 business households on electronic tax payment on eTax Mobile; on changing tax registration information; declaring non- agricultural land use tax; applying electronic invoices generated from cash registers; using administrative procedures on the Public Service Portal, electronic applications of tax authorities...

In the coming time, the Tax Department of Bac Ninh province will continue to organize many groups in the Shock Team to propagate and support taxpayers in handling administrative procedures on modern technology platforms in other localities, especially rural areas, mountainous areas, remote areas of the province.
