On the afternoon of June 19, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of An Giang Provincial Party Committee Le Hong Quang chaired a meeting to prepare for the announcement ceremony of the Resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the arrangement of commune-level administrative units of An Giang province; Decision on the establishment of Party Committees of communes and wards of An Giang province.

Also attending were members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee; leaders of relevant departments, branches, sectors and organizations; Secretaries of District Party Committees, City Party Committees, Town Party Committees, Chairmen of District People's Committees in the province...

During the ceremony, the organization announced the Resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the arrangement of commune-level administrative units of An Giang province in 2025; handed over the decision to establish Party Committees of communes, wards, and special zones under the An Giang Provincial Party Committee; decided to appoint the executive committee, standing committee, secretary, deputy secretary of the Party Committee, inspection committee, chairman of the inspection committee of the Party Committee of communes and wards for the 2025-2030 term; decided to assign cadres to hold leadership positions of the People's Council and People's Committee of communes and wards.

The meeting focused on discussing and contributing ideas to develop a plan for the announcement ceremony, including: Time and location; participants; program content; units and individuals in charge of implementation...

Concluding the meeting, An Giang Provincial Party Secretary Le Hong Quang agreed with the opinions of the delegates attending the meeting. Specifically, the ceremony will be held simultaneously on the morning of June 25 (from 7:00 to 9:00, 9:30 to 11:30). The Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee will advise the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee to assign members of the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee and members of the Provincial Party Committee's Executive Committee to attend the ceremony in each ward and commune; prepare the content to announce the decision to end the activities of the district and commune-level Party Committees (old), the decision to establish commune and ward Party Committees under the An Giang Provincial Party Committee... At the same time, complete and issue the plan tomorrow (June 20) for localities to promptly implement.

Regarding the content of the ceremony, closely following the Central Government's instructions, ensuring the time and program, expressing solemnity, pride and meaning as the whole province turns to a new page, with a new organizational structure. From now until the day of the ceremony, the whole province will simultaneously hang flags, step up propaganda to create a joyful and exciting atmosphere before the "big festival"; organize cultural, artistic and sports activities depending on the conditions of each locality.
