At the meeting, the representative of the Central Executive Committee of the Tu An Hieu Nghia Buddhist Association presented the difficulties and obstacles in the process of implementing the project to restore and embellish the relic. At the same time, he requested the authorities to soon support and complete the procedures, especially the cleaning and preservation of remains at Ba Chuc tomb. This is an urgent issue that needs to be done promptly to ensure the solemnity and preservation of historical values.
The survey team proposed a number of specific solutions for the restoration and upgrading of the National Monument Site of the Tam Buu Pagoda Historical Site, Phi Lai Pagoda, and Ba Chuc Tomb.
After listening to the report and conducting a field survey, the working group agreed on a number of solutions, specifically: Ba Chuc Tomb will replace the fence; repaint the entire area; prevent leaks in the upper glass door area; improve the drainage system; and handle moisture treatment to protect the remains and the memorial space.
On the other hand, move the exhibition house to the back gate; rearrange it according to a modern display layout, apply documentary film projection technology, and add seats to serve visitors.
For An Dinh communal house and Phi Lai pagoda, comprehensive restoration will be carried out in a sustainable manner, ensuring the originality, combining the front and back temples. At the same time, leveling the ground to prevent flooding, installing a lighting system and completing the landscape at the relic site.
