In recent days, on social networks in An Giang , a 1-minute clip appeared of a 10th grade male student being threatened by a group of classmates and having sanitary napkins stuffed into his mouth. In the clip, the group of young men frequently cursed, causing a negative reaction. Many people who watched the clip expressed their anger at the actions of this group of male students.
According to initial information, the incident occurred on November 22, when students D.NQH and D.NQD (grade 10, Hon Dat High School) and several other students in the group intercepted student VXH (same grade 10) on Highway 80. The group blocked the car and beat student XH. Then, QH and D. held a knife and forced student XH to drive into a deserted canal.
Here, QH and D. used helmets and hands to hit XH on the head. Then, D. filmed the clip while putting a sanitary napkin in XH's mouth.
On November 24, the Principal of Hon Dat High School asked QH and D. to write a report. Both confessed to the entire incident. Realizing that the incident was beyond the school's ability to handle, the Principal of Hon Dat High School invited the police to intervene, but to date there have been no results.
The school board also coordinated with the homeroom teacher and QH's parents to visit and encourage XH to go to class. As for the remaining students involved, the school still allows them to go to school as usual and waits for the results of the police investigation before deciding on further action.
