On June 3, the Norwegian Seafood Council and other units opened the Norwegian Seafood Festival in Vietnam at Vincom Mega Mall Times City (Hai Ba Trung District, Hanoi ).
At the event, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Norway, Ms. Hilde Solbakken, and chefs prepared and processed salted Norwegian salmon for visitors to enjoy. Ambassador Solbakken said that the festival will bring the taste of Norway to seafood lovers in Hanoi in particular and throughout Vietnam in general: "Norway is not only a seafood country but also a responsible seafood country. It is easy to understand why salmon has become a symbol of Norway. Every day, more than 14 million meals of Norwegian salmon are served and enjoyed by diners around the world .
