Due to the circulation of storm No. 3 (Yagi), in September 2024, in the residential area of groups 13, 14, 15 along 23/9 street, Pom Han ward, Lao Cai city, there was heavy rain causing serious landslides (cracking, subsidence of foundation, road surface, landslide of slope roof, cracking of houses), directly affecting the lives of 31 households.

Hiện nay mùa mưa sắp đến, nguy cơ xảy ra sạt trượt lớn cả khu vực rất cao, nếu không khắc phục kịp thời sẽ có nhiều khả năng gây thiệt hại đến tính mạng, tài sản của người dân.

Now the rainy season is coming, the risk of major landslides in the whole area is very high, if not promptly remedied, it will likely cause damage to people's lives and property.

Hiện Ủy ban nhân dân thành phố Lào Cai đã ban hành Lệnh xây dựng công trình khẩn cấp kè chống sạt lở, để khắc phục nhằm bảo đảm an toàn tính mạng, tài sản cho nhân dân.

Currently, Lao Cai City People's Committee has issued an Order to urgently build anti-landslide embankments to ensure the safety of people's lives and property.
