Independence Star is an annual program held in the autumn days of August, to honor the cultural and historical values of the nation; the patriotic spirit and indomitable will of generations of heroic Vietnamese people who sacrificed and devoted themselves to the independence and freedom of the Fatherland under the leadership of the glorious Communist Party of Vietnam .
In addition, this year's program also emphasizes the great achievements over the past 8 decades, especially in nearly 40 years of national renovation, thereby demonstrating the determination of the entire Party, army and people to bring the country into a new era.

The program's content revolves around the theme of praising the glorious Party, great Uncle Ho, heroic revolutionary history, the country's Innovation and Integration cause, creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere, while encouraging and motivating all classes of people to actively study, compete in labor production, contributing to the successful implementation of socio-economic development goals and tasks in 2025.
In addition to the traditional duration and approach, the program has innovated in content and artistic expression, helping the public, especially young audiences, understand and be more proud of the heroic Vietnamese nation, the glorious Communist Party of Vietnam, the great President Ho Chi Minh, and the People's Public Security force "forgetting themselves for the country and serving the people", inspiring young people - the core and important force for the goal of a strong and prosperous Vietnam in the new era.
Anh Tu sings two songs about President Ho Chi Minh
The August Revolution of 1945 is a great epic, the most brilliant milestone in the history of the nation in the 20th century, and also the day the Vietnam People's Public Security was born.
80 springs of steadfastly following the path of socialism, the People's Public Security force has always stood side by side with the country, is the core force on the front line of protecting national security, ensuring social order and safety, contributing to maintaining political stability, protecting a peaceful and happy life for the people, and creating a solid foundation for socio-economic development.
The program is both historical, traditional, and folk, combined with the creative colors of contemporary art technology.
In which, chapter 1 "Under the majestic flag of the flying yellow star" (Aspiration for Independence - Freedom); chapter 2 "Journey to build peace" (Innovation and action, building a happy nation); chapter 3 "Aspiration for a prosperous Vietnam" (Continuing tradition, creating the future, building a rich, prosperous, and powerful nation).
A performance in the program
Anh Tu "Anh trai say hi" sang two songs near the end of the show, creating an explosive and emotional ending for the audience with two songs about Ho Chi Minh.
The first article, He is Ho Chi Minh, was written by Anh Tu himself to pay tribute to President Ho Chi Minh on the occasion of the 135th anniversary of his birth (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025).
He performed the song for the first time in front of an audience in the art program "You are Ho Chi Minh" at Ba Dinh Square on the evening of May 18.
In addition to the song "You are Ho Chi Minh", Anh Tu also sang another song praising Uncle Ho, by musician Ewan MacColl (Vietnamese lyrics by Phu An).

Within the framework of the program, the organizing committee presented meaningful gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, Heroes of the People's Armed Forces, wounded and sick soldiers, and people with revolutionary contributions.
