NDO - Amidst the exciting competition atmosphere of the 43rd Nhan Dan Newspaper National Table Tennis Championship, the participation of young players with very young ages and careers has brought a new breeze to the tournament. Although still at a young age, they have shown a serious competitive spirit, courage and development potential.

Le Bao Anh, currently a student at Hien Nam Primary School ( Hung Yen ), started playing table tennis at the age of 5 and this year's tournament is the first time he has participated in a national level competition.

Although born into a family with a mother who is a football coach, 10-year-old athlete Le Bao Anh of the Hung Yen team soon revealed his passion for table tennis and firmly chose the path of professional competition.

Despite her young age, Bao Anh showed her eagerness and determination when entering the tournament. According to her, the feeling of both excitement and joy is inevitable, especially she loves the tense moments of competition because that is when she has to try her best.

Same age and in the same group as Le Bao Anh, at a very young age, tennis player Hoang Viet Tung has shown true sportsmanship : each match is a joy, each opponent is a teacher.

From the guidance of his father - also a table tennis coach, Hoang Viet Tung found in this sport not only a passion, but also an inspiring journey of connection between two generations.

Not chasing after winning or losing, Hoang Viet Tung chooses to grow up through each ball. The boy is learning how to grow up with table tennis and the first lessons of life from his own family.

Also joining the Hung Yen delegation is a young but promising face: Lam Tran Huyen My, only 12 years old. Although still very young, Huyen My has already made her mark by winning the Gold Medal in the U11 women's team event at the 2024 National Youth, Teenager and Children's Table Tennis Championship. She is showing a confident competitive spirit, stable technique and encouraging character, promising to be a "golden seed" of Hung Yen table tennis in the future.

In addition, this year's tournament also features young players such as Nguyen Hoang Lam (born in 2007, Army team), who has proven his talent by winning the U17 Men's Singles Gold Medal at the 2023 Southeast Asian Youth Table Tennis Championship. This achievement not only marks the return of Vietnamese youth table tennis after 15 years of absence from the regional podium, but also opens up great expectations for a promising next generation.

Trained at the Army Sports Center, Hoang Lam possesses a high-speed attacking style, especially the ability to pull the ball strongly and accurately.

In addition, Nguyen Duy Phong (born in 2005, Hai Duong - Long Hai team) won the Gold Medal in the U19 Men's Singles at the 2024 Southeast Asian Youth Table Tennis Championship. At the 43rd Nhan Dan Newspaper National Table Tennis Championship in 2025, Nguyen Duy Phong continued to affirm himself as one of the most promising young players in Vietnamese table tennis.

Young players like Le Bao Anh, Hoang Viet Tung or Lam Tran Huyen My not only bring fresh colors to the National Table Tennis Championship, but are also living proof of the journey of nurturing passion and competitive spirit from a very early age. Together with young faces like Nguyen Hoang Lam or Nguyen Duy Phong, they are taking the first steady steps on the journey of asserting themselves, contributing to building the future of Vietnamese table tennis.
