Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai Huong holds the position of Editor-in-Chief of Knowledge and Life Newspaper.

This afternoon (December 1), the Standing Committee of the Central Council of the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations (VUSTA) announced and awarded Decision No. 1101/QD-LHHVN on the appointment of Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai Huong, Deputy Editor-in-Chief, to hold the position of Editor-in-Chief of Knowledge and Life Newspaper , for a term of 5 years.

Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Ngoc Linh, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice President of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations, presented Decision No. 1101/QD-LHHVN appointing Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai Huong to hold the position of Editor-in-Chief of Knowledge and Life Newspaper.

Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Ngoc Linh, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice President of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations, congratulated Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai Huong , Knowledge and Life Newspaper for perfecting the agency's leadership, gradually stabilizing and developing.

“This is the joy and honor of comrade Nguyen Thi Mai Huong; at the same time, it places a higher responsibility on her when becoming the Editor-in-Chief of the only press agency of the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations - perfecting, building and developing the newspaper in accordance with the principles and purposes of being the mouthpiece of the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations, the Voice of the scientific and technological intellectuals of the whole country”, Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Ngoc Linh emphasized.

The Vice President of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations hopes that, with this new responsibility, Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai Huong will continue to promote her political qualities, build and lead the collective of cadres, reporters and journalists of the Knowledge and Life Newspaper into a united and unified collective; fully implement the tasks of the newspaper, worthy of the trust of readers, as well as the Party Committee and the Presidium of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations...

Mr. Pham Huu Due, Member of the Party Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Head of the Organization and Policy Department of the Association announced the Decision to appoint Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai Huong as Editor-in-Chief of Knowledge and Life Newspaper.

In her acceptance speech, Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai Huong would like to express her sincere thanks to the leaders of the State management and direction agency for the press; the leaders of the Party Delegation and the Presidium; the leaders of the Central Agency of the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations; the Party Cell, the Editorial Board and the Newspaper staff for their trust and confidence in appointing her to the position of Editor-in-Chief of the Knowledge and Life Newspaper.

“This is a great honor and also a heavy responsibility before the Party Committee, the Presidium of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations and the Party Cell, the staff, employees and journalists of the Knowledge and Life Newspaper,” said Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai Huong.

The new Editor-in-Chief of the Knowledge and Life Newspaper said that she appreciates learning and inheriting the achievements and valuable experiences of previous leaders; vows to devote all her abilities, intelligence and enthusiasm, join hands and unite with the Party Committee, the Editorial Board and the Newspaper's staff to strictly follow the leadership and direction of the Party Committee, the Presidium of the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations; be creative, innovate with specific and effective plans in the management, operation and organization of press publishing activities; aim to build the Knowledge and Life Newspaper to truly be the mouthpiece of the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations; be the Voice of the scientific and technological intellectuals; and have a profound reputation in the Vietnamese revolutionary press system.
