Ba Ria-Vung Tau total budget revenue reached 89.99%

(CPV) - Information from the People's Committee of Ba Ria-Vung Tau province said that in the first 10 months of 2024, the socio -economic development situation in the province had positive changes; 11/12 growth targets compared to the same period and higher than the plan for the whole year of 2024.

Specifically: Agricultural production value is estimated at 7,953 billion VND, reaching 80.6% of the plan and increasing by 4.16% over the same period; industrial production excluding oil and gas increased by 15.34%; total retail sales of goods increased by 12.98%; revenue from accommodation services increased by 18.48%, travel services increased by 34.18%; revenue from transportation, warehousing and transportation support services increased by 12.09%.

Export turnover excluding oil and gas increased by 12.32%. Total budget revenue reached 89.99% of the estimate. Disbursement of public investment capital as of October 31 was VND11,758,823 billion, reaching 56.35% of the plan.

In the first 10 months of 2024, the total newly granted and increased domestic and foreign investment capital in the province was nearly 1.92 billion USD and more than 37,570 billion VND, equivalent to 85,550 billion VND, an increase of 1.86 times compared to the same period in 2023. The province has newly granted and adjusted capital increase for 25 domestic projects with a total registered capital of more than 37,570 billion VND, an increase of 2.4 times compared to the same period. To date, the province has nearly 700 domestic investment projects with a total registered investment capital of nearly 409,000 billion VND.

Ba Ria-Vung Tau province has also granted new and adjusted investment capital to 50 foreign projects with a total registered capital of nearly 1.92 billion USD, an increase of 1.53 times compared to the same period last year. To date, Ba Ria-Vung Tau has 490 foreign investment projects with a total registered capital of more than 33.45 billion USD.

The whole province has 7/8 district-level units that have been recognized by the Prime Minister for completing the task of meeting new rural standards; Con Dao district has submitted to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development for appraisal.

The fields of culture, sports, health, education, science and technology, information and communication... are fully and promptly implemented; administrative reform, anti-corruption and anti-negativity work are promoted. Political and social stability is maintained; national defense and security are maintained; social order and safety are ensured.
