Recently, the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province has directed agencies, units and localities to review, proactively grasp the situation, promptly remove difficulties in capital, market, labor, import and export and electricity supply; support businesses to stabilize production, maintain supply chains and create new capacity. Up to now, the whole province of Bac Ninh has 33 industrial parks with a total planned area of over 10,100 hectares, the occupancy rate is about 56%.
According to the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province, despite the impact of the US tariff policy, many FDI enterprises still maintained positive growth. Large corporations such as Foxconn, Luxshare, and Samsung continued to expand production, affirming their position in the global supply chain. Key products continued to increase sharply compared to the same period, such as computer spare parts increased more than 7 times, laptops and iPads increased more than 2 times.

Mr. Nguyen Van Phuc - Head of the Management Board of Industrial Parks of Bac Ninh province - said that in the planning period of 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, Bac Ninh province has 52 industrial parks with a total area of nearly 16,000 hectares. To date, 41 zones have had their construction zoning plans approved, with an expected land use area of nearly 13,000 hectares.
By the end of August, industrial parks in Bac Ninh province had attracted 2,805 projects, with a total newly registered and adjusted capital of over 44 billion USD. Of which, there were 2,010 FDI projects with a total capital of over 40 billion USD, coming from 44 countries and territories. The investment rate reached over 9 million USD/ha, higher than the national average (5 million USD/ha in 2024). In particular, Bac Ninh has successfully attracted many large projects from multinational corporations with core technology such as Samsung, Canon, Amkor, Foxconn, Sunwoda, Goertek, Amphenol.

Mr. Phuc said that in the period of 2026-2030, Bac Ninh province aims to develop high-tech industries, green industries, digital technology industries, forming a leading electronics center in Vietnam. Accordingly, Bac Ninh province prioritizes the development of new industries such as semiconductor and semiconductor chip manufacturing, robot manufacturing, environmental industry, renewable energy, new materials, artificial intelligence, information technology, pharmaceuticals and healthcare .
Bac Ninh promotes production linkage chains, develops domestic industry, and accelerates digital transformation - green transformation in industry. Bac Ninh province aims for sustainable development with the viewpoint of "1 no, 2 less, 3 high" (no pollution; less land use, less labor; high technology, high capital rate, high economic efficiency) and "4 ready" (land, human resources, improving investment environment, supporting investors), aiming for a sustainable "industrial ecosystem" model with the connection and participation of domestic enterprises.
