Lao Cai Provincial Ethnic Committee works with Bac Giang Provincial Ethnic Committee

Mr. Nhu Van Nam, Deputy Head of the Ethnic Minorities Committee of Bac Giang province, exchanged information with the working delegation of the Ethnic Minorities Committee of Lao Cai province.

Receiving and working with the Lao Cai Provincial Delegation were Mr. Nhu Van Nam, Deputy Head of the Department, along with officials and civil servants of the Bac Giang Provincial Ethnic Minorities Department.

At the meeting, the leaders of the two agencies exchanged and shared experiences in implementing ethnic policies; the National Target Program on Socio -Economic Development in Ethnic Minorities and Mountainous Areas for the 2021-2030 period; implementing policies for Prestigious People and promoting the role of Prestigious People in propaganda and mobilization work; hunger eradication, poverty reduction, preservation of traditional cultural values, maintenance of security and order in ethnic minority areas, etc.

During the trip, the Lao Cai delegation visited and worked at a number of companies in Bac Giang province; visited workplaces, accommodation, living quarters and listened to the sharing, thoughts and feelings of workers who are ethnic minority children of Lao Cai province working at companies and factories in Bac Giang province.
