Georgina Rodriguez - girlfriend of superstar Cristiano Ronaldo - is facing a wave of criticism after posting a series of photos during her recent visit to the Fatima shrine in Portugal.

In the photo, the model, who has dual Argentine and Spanish citizenship, appeared in an outfit that was considered inappropriate. The WAGs wore a thin, off-shoulder, sleeveless dress and a baseball cap. This outfit made many social media users think that Georgina was disrespectful to the sacred place.

“Please don’t wear a hat in church. It may be acceptable in Saudi Arabia, but not in Portugal,” one person commented. Another wrote: “Never wear a hat in church. It’s disrespectful.” A gentler commenter said: “Next time cover your shoulders when you go to church, thank you.”

According to Portuguese tradition, women entering a Catholic church must dress modestly, with sleeves, shoulders and knees covered. If they wear revealing clothing, they are often advised to wear a veil.

Georgina has been dating Ronaldo since 2016. She gave birth to her first daughter in 2017, and in 2022, the WAGs continued to give birth to twins, a boy and a girl, but the baby boy unfortunately passed away at birth.

Ronaldo and Georgina's family have been constantly on the move, following the Portuguese superstar from Spain to Italy, England and now Saudi Arabia. The 40-year-old striker has just signed a new two-year contract with Al Nassr, continuing his association with the Gulf club after his previous contract ended.
