Pleiku Transaction Office signs trust contracts with associations and organizations

(GLO)- On the afternoon of July 21, the Pleiku Transaction Office of the Gia Lai Province Social Policy Bank Branch signed a trust contract with associations and unions of 7 communes and wards in the western region of Gia Lai.

At the ceremony, representatives of Pleiku Transaction Office fully informed the contents of the draft trust contract. This event marked a new, long-term cooperation step between the parties in the conditions of operating the 2-level local government organization model.

Representatives of associations and unions of 7 communes and wards (Pleiku, Dien Hong, Hoi Phu, An Phu, Thong Nhat, Gao commune, Bien Ho) have reached a high consensus on fully implementing the contents of the commitment under the trust contract, especially in the work of loan evaluation, inspection, supervision, management of savings and loan groups as well as propaganda and mobilization of borrowers to use capital for the right purpose, fulfill the obligation to repay debt and pay interest on time.

Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Huynh Thi Tra Que - Director of Pleiku Transaction Office highlighted the particularly important role of grassroots socio -political organizations in coordinating with Pleiku Transaction Office to implement policy credit programs, contributing to bringing capital to the right beneficiaries, ensuring efficiency, publicity, transparency and safety.

Currently, the total outstanding credit balance managed by the Pleiku Transaction Office is 550 billion VND, with 11,784 households with outstanding loans, belonging to 289 savings and loan groups managed by associations and unions operating in 7 communes and wards.
