Selling pho for over 200,000 VND a bowl, Chi Pu's restaurant is packed with customers

Chi Pu's pho restaurant in Shanghai, China has attracted a lot of attention even though it has just opened.

Last September, information spread all over social networks that Chi Pu had opened her first pho restaurant in the Chinese market, specifically in Shanghai. This was one of the singer's first activities in the country of a billion people after participating in the show Sisters Turning Waves and Driving Winds Season 3. The pho restaurant is called La Ganh (Chinese name is 竿竿粉) and was co-founded by Chi Pu and two of her other friends, Chengling Zhang and Helen Trinh.

Sharing about La Ganh, Chi Pu expressed her pride in the amazing journey of three passionate women and she also sent deep thanks to the two friends who founded the pho restaurant with her. The female singer also expressed that she always wanted to bring the taste of Northern pho to international friends and help Vietnamese cuisine become more famous.

Chi Pu's pho restaurant opened for trial sale at the end of September and has received many positive reviews. Currently, the menu only includes one pho dish, two side dishes: poached egg and fried breadsticks, and the main drink is lotus tea.

More specifically, during this time, a bowl of pho at La Ganh is also discounted from 90 yuan (over 300,000 VND) to 59 yuan (over 200,000 VND). Side dishes range in price from 17,000 - 24,000 VND, and lotus tea is 65,000 VND.

The average price at Chi Pu's pho restaurant may surprise many Vietnamese people. But with the high cost of living in Shanghai, 200,000 VND for a bowl of pho is completely understandable.

After experiencing it, many diners have given compliments, calling this the most authentic Vietnamese pho restaurant they have ever known. The naturally sweet broth, the moderately chewy noodles, and the large amount of meat are the big plus points of the pho bowl at Chi Pu's restaurant.

Although it has not officially opened yet, La Ganh has attracted many Chi Pu fans in China to enjoy. Many people also expressed hope for new dishes to be added to the menu later. The restaurant will officially open in mid-October.
