The dispatch stated that, according to the forecast of the Quang Nam Hydrometeorological Station, the tropical depression is developing complicatedly, is likely to strengthen into a storm and directly affect the province.

To prevent and respond to natural disasters promptly and effectively, the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee requests that members of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and Provincial Party Committee members assigned to monitor localities directly lead, direct and inspect the work of preventing and responding to natural disasters that are likely to strengthen into storms.

The Party Executive Committee of the Provincial People's Committee leads the Provincial People's Committee to direct agencies, units and localities to resolutely implement flood and storm prevention work, be ready to respond, and minimize damage to people and property if storms occur.

Assign members of the Provincial People's Committee to directly monitor, direct, and inspect the work of preventing and responding to the risk of flash floods and landslides in mountainous areas and deep flooding in low-lying areas, riverside areas, and urban areas.

District, town, city Party Committees and Party Committees directly under the Provincial Party Committee focus on leading and directing the implementation of prevention and response solutions in conjunction with continuing to effectively implement Official Dispatch No. 2851 (dated September 16, 2024) of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee on overcoming the consequences of storm No. 3 and strengthening leadership and direction in the work of preventing natural disasters, storms, floods and landslides during the rainy and stormy season.
