Ensure emulation and reward work is put into practice

On the morning of October 16, at the Presidential Palace, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan, First Vice President of the Central Emulation and Reward Council, attended the 4th Patriotic Emulation Congress of the Office of the President, period 2025-2030.

Presenting a summary report on the patriotic emulation movement for the 2020-2025 period, Deputy Head of the Office of the President Pham Thanh Ha emphasized that with the attention and regular and direct direction of the President and Vice President, the Office's emulation and reward work has many innovations.

Reward work is carried out strictly, in accordance with regulations, rewarding the right person, the right job, the right achievement; sudden rewards and rewards for direct workers are always given attention.

The commendation, honor, and replication of typical examples of good people and good deeds are carried out promptly and regularly, creating positive spread.

The Party Committee and leaders of the Office always deeply understand the role, position and importance of emulation and reward work, regularly pay attention to leading, directing and innovating the organization of patriotic emulation movements and reward work; concretize the Party's policies and guidelines, the State's laws, review, amend and promptly promulgate regulations and rules on emulation and reward work in accordance with the practical situation of the agency.

In addition, the Office of the President has actively responded and proactively implemented emulation movements launched by the Prime Minister with results in many forms suitable to the specific characteristics of the agency.

Deputy Head of the Office of the President Phan Thi Kim Oanh presented Emulation Flags to collectives with outstanding achievements in the patriotic emulation movement, period 2020-2025.

As a member of the Emulation Bloc of ministries and branches, the Office of the President always actively participates in the common activities of the Bloc: Participates in signing the emulation covenant at the beginning of the year, attends the preliminary and final review conferences, participates in competitions, sports exchanges and other movements organized by the Emulation Bloc.

During the 2020-2025 period, the Office of the President has always been an active member, making important contributions to the emulation movement of the Emulation Bloc of ministries and branches.

Speaking at the Congress, Party Secretary and Head of the Office of the President Le Khanh Hai praised the efforts of all cadres, civil servants and employees who have successfully implemented the spirit of patriotic emulation in the period of 2020-2025. Agreeing with the proposed directions and solutions, the Chief of the Office of the President proposed to continue to thoroughly grasp Uncle Ho's ideology on patriotic emulation and Directive No. 41-CT/TW dated December 26, 2024 of the Politburo on strengthening the Party's leadership over emulation and reward work in the new situation.

In order for the emulation movement to achieve high results, it is necessary to promote the role and responsibility of Party committees at all levels, heads of Party committees and authorities in leadership and direction; to promote and resolutely implement "setting an example" as the most important measure to successfully carry out political tasks and patriotic emulation movements.

In addition, effectively implement emulation movements launched by the Prime Minister; strongly innovate the criteria, content and forms of emulation and rewards; build a system of criteria and scoring scales that are specific and clear, creating favorable conditions for emulation and reward evaluation to be truly democratic, accurate, public and transparent; prevent and eliminate the disease of achievements and formalities, ensuring that emulation and rewards are put into practice.

The Head of the Office of the President noted that it is necessary to focus on organizing and launching emulation movements with diverse, exciting, practical, and creative contents and forms suitable to the conditions and characteristics of the Office; promote emulation to deploy and implement key political tasks, key contents, difficulties, bottlenecks, and bottlenecks that need to be removed in performing tasks.

At the same time, take efficiency, quality, and work progress as the basis for evaluation, emulation, and reward; urge, inspect, summarize, and conclude the emulation movement, evaluate what has been done and what has not been done, draw practical lessons for timely leadership, direction, and implementation.
