Currently, the weather in the East Sea is very bad, the risk level of natural disasters due to strong winds at sea is level 2 due to the appearance of a tropical convergence zone connecting to the low pressure area.
The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting said that on September 22, a tropical convergence zone appeared in the East Sea with an axis at about 17 - 20 degrees north latitude connecting with a low pressure area at about 18.5 - 19.5 degrees north latitude, 110.5 - 111.5 degrees east longitude.
In the northern and central areas of the East Sea (including the waters of the Hoang Sa archipelago), from Quang Ngai to Khanh Hoa and the Gulf of Thailand, there will be showers and strong thunderstorms.
Forecast, the sea area of Bac Bo Gulf has strong northeast wind level 6, sometimes level 7, gusting to level 8. Rough sea, waves 2-3 m high. The sea area north of the North East Sea has strong northeast wind level 5, sometimes level 6, gusting to level 7, waves 2-3 m high.
Notably, the sea area from Binh Dinh to Binh Thuan, south of the northern East Sea, the central East Sea area has southwest wind level 6, gusting to level 7 - level 8. Rough sea, waves 2 - 4 m high.

During the thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes and strong gusts of wind of level 7 - level 8.

Risk level of natural disasters due to strong winds at sea is level 2. All vessels operating in the above areas are at high risk of being affected by tornadoes, strong winds and large waves.
