Giving gifts to support students in mountainous areas affected by storms and floods

Practical, timely and meaningful gifts were presented by members of three units of Vietnam News Agency to students and people affected by storms and floods in Bat Xat district, Lao Cai province.

On September 23, the Youth Union of the units: Foreign Affairs News Editorial Board, VietnamPlus Electronic Newspaper and Vietnam News Newspaper (Vietnam News Agency) presented 50 gifts, 300 sets of children's clothes, 1,600 squared notebooks and 600 pens along with many other necessities to students of Ngai Thau Primary and Secondary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities, A Lu Commune, Bat Xat District, Lao Cai Province.

Thoughtful gifts are carefully prepared and transported on Giao Hang Tiet Kiem's ​​0-dong buses to schools in mountainous areas.

The delegation also presented 30 million VND in cash to the school's board of directors to soon reinforce and repair the dining area for boarding students, due to landslides. These practical gifts are the sentiments of union members, union members of units, and generous donors sent to the children and people who were heavily affected by storm No. 3.
