Accordingly, Lam Dong Newspaper and Television was established on the basis of merging the Radio and Television Stations, Party Newspapers of the provinces: Lam Dong, Binh Thuan , Dak Nong, as a public service unit under the Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee.

Since its establishment, Lam Dong Newspaper and Television have strived to fulfill their political mission. On July 1, 2025, the first issue of the newspaper was published. The television and digital platforms are unified as a symbol of Lam Dong province.

After 20 days of establishment, all activities of Lam Dong Newspaper and Radio and Television gradually became regular. The organizational structure was formed with 09 functional departments operating quite smoothly, initially meeting the requirements of the province's information and propaganda tasks.

Currently, the Editorial Board of Lam Dong Newspaper and Television is focusing on stabilizing the organizational structure, identifying this as the top priority. At the same time, building and promulgating the agency's operating regulations and rules, ensuring smooth, efficient, effective and efficient operations. Reviewing and resolving the remaining work of the agencies before the merger; conducting an inventory and making a list of financial, asset and document handovers, etc.

In addition to the operational efforts after the merger, Lam Dong Newspaper and Radio and Television still face difficulties such as: Regarding facilities, especially the project to build the headquarters of Lam Dong Radio and Television Station (old) is under construction and cannot be put into use; Regarding finance, the monthly salary payment for cadres, civil servants and workers is very large due to the large number of employees after the merger, along with the salary payment for the labor contract force for the last 5 months of 2025 of about 6 billion VND; In addition, the number of printed newspapers published has increased with a budget of about 7.3 billion VND for the last 6 months of 2025. Meanwhile, the revenue from advertising and propaganda services has no source so far...
