Arrested 2 subjects breaking car windows to steal property

With only a flashlight-shaped car window-breaking hammer, in one night, two subjects Pham Minh Tuan, born in 2000 in Vu Phuc commune, Thai Binh city, Thai Binh province and Le Trung Thong, born in 1999 in Vu Quang commune, Vu Quang district, Ha Tinh province, broke the car window, causing two thefts in Dien Bien ward, Thanh Hoa city.

Two subjects Pham Minh Tuan and Le Trung Thong were arrested.

Immediately after the incidents occurred, Thanh Hoa City Police began investigating, verifying, clarifying and arresting the perpetrators.

Through the crime scene investigation, Thanh Hoa City Police determined that the methods of the subjects in the two cases were almost identical. The car windows were broken by sharp objects, enough for the subjects to reach in and open the car door and steal the property. After committing the crime, the subjects also "carefully" closed the car door to avoid being discovered by the people or the car owner.

Thanh Hoa City Police have collected documents and evidence, identifying the perpetrators of the two above incidents as Pham Minh Tuan and Le Trung Thong, who had just committed a similar crime in Ha Tinh province; thereby, confiscating 1 motorbike with license plate 17H9-2308, the vehicle used by the subjects to commit the crime, and 1 laptop.

During the investigation, the two subjects confessed that due to gambling and debt, they had broken the windows of dozens of cars in the provinces of Thai Binh, Ninh Binh, Nam Dinh, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, and Ha Tinh to steal property.
