Arrest of 2 more trawlers violating Lam Dong waters

On the evening of October 13, Thanh Hai Border Guard Station (Lam Dong Provincial Border Guard) discovered and arrested two fishing boats using double trawl nets (flying trawlers) in violation of regulations on fishing areas.

Fishing boats violating regulations on fishing areas were arrested.

At about 7:30 p.m. on October 13, in the sea area about 8 nautical miles from the coast of Phu Thuy ward (coordinates 10°40'326"N - 108°05'278"E), the patrol team of Thanh Hai Border Guard Station coordinated with Squadron 2 to discover and arrest two fishing boats BTh 95672 TS captained by Mr. Nguyen Van Hung (born 1976) and BTh 90016 TS captained by Mr. Nguyen Van Dung (born 1973, both residing in KP1, Phu Thuy ward, Lam Dong province), which were exploiting aquatic products using double trawl nets (flying rakes) in violation of regulations on the exploitation area. Currently, the unit is completing the documents and handling them according to the law.

Fishing boat was arrested on the evening of October 13.

Previously, on the evening of October 7, during a patrol and control in Lam Dong waters, the Thanh Hai Border Guard Station patrol team coordinated with Squadron 2 (Lam Dong Provincial Border Guard) to discover and arrest two trawlers fishing off the prescribed route.
