Mr. Toan said the assault happened at around 12 noon on October 9th and was during the teachers’ lunch break. Because the incident happened so quickly, the school did not have a clear understanding of the specifics.

“The cause stemmed from a small conflict between students the day before. The commune police are working with those involved,” said Mr. Toan.

Mr. Pham Van Tan, Head of the Department of Culture and Society (Quang Tin commune) also confirmed the above incident and said that the Police Department is investigating the above incident.

Previously, a clip circulated on social media recording the image of a man in a black shirt grabbing the collar of a male student in a red shirt and continuously threatening him.

At this time, the student wearing the red shirt kept apologizing but was still grabbed by the collar, threatened, and slapped in the face by the man... The incident happened in front of many students.

Most people criticized the actions of the man in black as reckless, disregarding the law and needing to be severely punished to set an example for others.
