Launching a movement to compete to get rich and clean up the national land database.

Acting Minister of Agriculture and Environment Tran Duc Thang has just signed and issued Document No. 7842/BNNMT-TCCB on launching the emulation movement "Enriching and cleaning the national database on land" nationwide.

The movement to enrich and clean up the national land database aims to mobilize collective strength, promote the proactive and creative spirit of cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers; promote the application of digital technology, effectively exploit land data, ensure the accuracy, completeness and timeliness of information; contribute to building a synchronous land data system, serving management, policy making and sustainable socio -economic development.

The specific purpose is to improve the synchronization, completeness and accuracy of land data in the entire agricultural and environmental sectors; as well as improve the quality of public service provision on land, reform and resolve administrative procedures on land for people and businesses in the electronic environment.

The movement also aims to strengthen coordination between units in the ministry, the Department of Agriculture and Environment of provinces and cities, and People's Committees at all levels to complete the objectives of Plan No. 515/KHBCA-BNN&MT of the Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment to implement the campaign to enrich and clean up the national database on land.

According to the plan, the emulation movement "Enriching and cleaning the national land database" will be implemented until November 30, 2025.

With that spirit, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment requests the People's Committees of provinces and cities; agencies, organizations, and units within the Ministry; and the Departments of Agriculture and Environment of localities to closely coordinate to implement on schedule.

At the request of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, the emulation movement focuses on implementing the following contents: Emulating the completion of existing land databases, ensuring "correct - sufficient - clean - livable"; emulating the construction of residential land and housing data for places where land databases have not yet been built; emulating the completion of synchronization, connection, and sharing of unified and common land databases; emulating the management and operation of land databases and online public services.

Agencies and units under the Ministry, People's Committees of provinces and cities are responsible for proactively developing plans, organizing, launching and implementing emulation movements in accordance with their functions, tasks and actual conditions; ensuring progress, quality and effectiveness of implementing Plan No. 515.

On that basis, agencies, units and localities synthesize the results, promptly commend and propose rewards for collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements, initiatives and effective solutions in the implementation process; send the commendation dossier with the Minister's Certificate of Merit to the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment (through the Department of Organization and Personnel), to be completed in December 2025.
