At the COP26 Climate Change Summit in the UK, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh announced Vietnam's strong commitments to responding to climate change.
In his speech, the Prime Minister affirmed that although Vietnam is a developing country that has only begun to industrialize in the past three decades, it has advantages in renewable energy and will develop and implement strong measures to reduce greenhouse gas emissions using its own resources.
Along with that is the cooperation and financial support and technology transfer of the international community, especially developed countries, including implementing mechanisms under the Paris Agreement, to achieve net emissions of "0" by 2050.

"On this journey, the media plays a particularly important role - not only as a channel of information, but also as a driving force for changing perceptions, behaviors and policies.
The press is the bridge between policy - science - business - community, helping the concept of "carbon neutrality" become closer, easier to understand and have the power to spread. Each article, each report not only provides information, but also inspires action for a green, sustainable Vietnam," Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Thach emphasized.
According to him, today's training session is designed with scientific, multi-dimensional and practical content, including topics from leading experts.

"In addition to the theoretical part, the program also includes a field trip to the TH Milk Processing Factory and Dairy Farm in Nghia Dan - a vivid demonstration of the spirit of Enterprises accompanying the Government for Net Zero 2050," the head of the Agriculture and Environment Newspaper further introduced the program.
Finally, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Thach said that in the context of the world entering the "green era", Vietnamese press needs to be one step ahead - not only reflecting, but also leading social awareness about circular economy, low-carbon agriculture, green consumption and corporate responsibility.
Accordingly, each quality journalistic work and each in-depth article is a "seed" that sows trust, motivating the community, businesses and farmers to act together for a sustainable future.
