Up to now, in the district, there have been 2 people swept away by floods in Hamlet 1, Ban Vuoc Commune. The victims are Ms. Ly Thi Ng. (born in 1994) and her son Ly Bao N. (born in 2022), both residing in Hamlet Km0, Ban Vuoc Commune. It is known that the two victims were swept away by floods at 5:30 a.m. on June 5, when Ms. Ng. and her son N. went to check their family's fish pond in Hamlet 1, Ban Vuoc Commune, and were suddenly swept away by floodwaters. Currently, local authorities are mobilizing forces to search for the missing victims.

Initial statistics show that the localities with the most damage are Ban Vuoc, Ban Qua and Quang Kim communes. Specifically, the floods flooded 3 houses; flooded 4 hectares of crops. In addition, the floods also caused landslides on 2 inter-village roads of Vi Phai, Ban Pho, Ban Vuoc commune, causing traffic disruption. In addition, the floods caused landslides and flooding at many points on Provincial Roads 156 and 156B running through the area, causing local traffic jams.
