Mr. Doan said that in the 2025-2026 season, Thanh Hoa team will face many difficulties and challenges when the opponents are all strong, the tournament is fierce, but that will be an opportunity to affirm the position of Thanh football.
Mr. Doan expects that with many new motivations such as having new recruit Que Ngoc Hai, new head coach Choi Won-kwon, and many young players in good form such as Van Thuan, Ngoc My, Thai Son, ... Thanh Hoa Club will fly higher and reach further.

Also at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Minh Ngoc, General Director of Vietnam Professional Football Joint Stock Company (VPF), said that VPF highly appreciates Thanh Hoa Club and its contributions to football. Mr. Ngoc added that the Thanh Hoa team always has a fighting spirit, has many identities and hopes that in the new season, they will continue to flourish, giving viewers eye-catching matches.
Mr. Ngoc added that V-League 2025-2026 will be equipped with additional VAR vehicles to ensure all matches have VAR support.
At the new season launch ceremony, Thanh Hoa football team also launched a new logo, home and away jerseys.
Closing the 2024-2025 V-League season, Thanh Hoa team ranked 8th with 31 points.

Choi Won-kwon, born in 1981, is a former South Korean national team player. When he was still playing, he played as a defender and right midfielder, having played 4 times for the national team and 27 times for the South Korean U23 team.
One of his most memorable moments was the 2004 Athens Olympics, where he was part of the Korean U23 team that reached the quarterfinals - a rare achievement for Asian football at that time. At the club level, he played for many teams in the K-League such as Anyang LG Cheetahs (the predecessor of FC Seoul), Gwangju Sangmu, Jeju United, Daegu FC and Kyungju. After retiring, Mr. Choi was the head coach of Daegu FC in the K-League 1 and stood out with his tight, scientific style of play, especially in the defensive organization. At the AFF Cup 2024, he took on the role of assistant head coach of the Vietnamese national team, Kim Sang-sik.
