Director of 19-8 Hospital Hoang Thanh Tuyen also shared that in recent years, 19-8 Hospital has signed cooperation agreements with many leading hospitals in the country such as: Bach Mai Hospital, Hanoi Medical University Hospital, Hanoi Heart Hospital, Central Geriatric Hospital, Central Dermatology Hospital, University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hanoi National University; cooperated with CIMEQ Hospital ( Ministry of Interior of Cuba), in the near future, the hospital will promote the signing of cooperation agreements with Juntendo University Hospital Japan in cancer treatment using autologous immunotherapy.
According to the Director of Hospital 19-8, in the field of hematology - blood transfusion, the Hospital hopes to receive support from professors, doctors, and leading experts of the Central Institute of Hematology - Blood Transfusion in professional activities such as implementing difficult and specialized tests, transferring techniques, training, and scientific research.

Sharing at the signing ceremony, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Ha Thanh, Director of the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion, affirmed that the Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion always accompanies and shares experiences with doctors of Hospital 19-8 to develop the hematology and blood transfusion profession better. According to Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Ha Thanh, in the coming time, the two hospitals will deploy advanced techniques such as stem cell transplantation, treatment of blood diseases, as well as blood transfusion. In particular, the Institute will support the Hematology - Blood Transfusion Center of Hospital 19-8 in testing for Thalassemia genes, prenatal screening so that soldiers and people carrying the disease gene can give birth to healthy babies without congenital hemolytic anemia.

“The time when we had the most difficulty with blood was the COVID-19 pandemic, but the core force of blood donors was the Public Security Forces. Thanks to that, we had enough blood to supply hospitals for emergency and treatment services. In the coming time, the two hospitals will coordinate to organize blood donation campaigns and produce blood for treatment purposes,” said the Director of the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion.

At the ceremony, the two sides signed a memorandum of understanding. Accordingly, in addition to professional work, the two sides cooperate to share blood donors in the entire Public Security Force.
