Can Tho University Hospital opens Vaccination Center, providing full range of vaccines

(HG O ) – On May 26, Can Tho University Hospital held a ceremony to launch the Vaccination Center to promptly meet the need for essential vaccinations for children and adults in Can Tho city and neighboring provinces.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony to open the Vaccination Center was performed by the Hospital at the ceremony.

The official inauguration of the Hospital's Vaccination Center determined that vaccine safety is the first important requirement to be ensured . The Center will ensure safety from the stage of vaccine import , storage to use according to strict standards of the Ministry of Health . During the vaccination process, medical staff will conduct screening to detect abnormalities, while ensuring that the vaccinated person is healthy enough to be vaccinated, minimizing post-vaccination reactions. 100% of vaccinated customers are monitored for 30 minutes after vaccination and have their health reassessed before leaving.

The center provides a full range of vaccines, such as: Tuberculosis vaccine (BCG); Hepatitis B vaccine; 6-in-1 vaccine against diphtheria, whooping cough, tetanus, polio, Hib, Hepatitis B; vaccine against acute diarrhea caused by Rotavirus; seasonal flu vaccine; chickenpox vaccine; vaccine against cervical cancer and diseases caused by HPV virus; meningococcal meningitis vaccine; tetanus vaccine for pregnant women (VAT); SAT vaccine...
