Lynk Lee was a guest in episode 12 of Emotional Space season 2. With the theme "The saddest day", Lynk Lee shared that she often has uncertain moments at work, the saddest is when she doesn't know what to do next.
As for love, the female singer has yet to have a love of her own. Lynk Lee admitted that she has always had unrequited love, and the feeling of liking someone but knowing for sure that the feelings will not be reciprocated is when she feels the saddest.
The female singer recalled the time when she came out, reading many comments attacking her while she did nothing made her very sad. And at that moment, she burst into tears when she received a call of encouragement from Den Vau. Lynk Lee revealed that she was much stronger after that phone call. It is known that Lynk Lee and Den Vau have a close friendship, so the two often support each other in work and life.
“Linh is not the type of person who likes to confide in anyone. When she is sad, she will cry a lot to relieve her mood, or maybe play games with people, sing karaoke,... When she focuses on something else, it will be easier for her to forget her sadness,” she confided.
Lynk Lee received more attention after her gender transition.
Participating in the program, Lynk Lee said she was very nervous because it had been a long time since she had stood on stage to sing. In particular, her voice after surgery was no longer as strong as before to be able to perform well as desired.
“Compared to the past, Linh’s voice is much more feminine, her singing voice is also weaker than before, and it can’t go too high or too low. Before, when I wanted to speak in a feminine voice, I had to try to force my voice, but after the surgery, I don’t have to try anymore. I can say whatever I want without having to practice in my head. And with Linh, she is more feminine and doesn’t need to sing too low like before,” Lynk Lee confided.
For the female singer, nothing is perfect, so in order to become more feminine, she accepts to trade something, and in this case, it is her vocal range.
Lynk Lee also added that although her voice is weaker than before, it cannot affect her music career because she can still sing. With Lynk Lee's current voice, she is still confident in performing the R&B music genre that she has always been familiar with, and in the future, there may even be softer, more feminine music products.
In addition, the singer of “Buồn Thì Cu Khoc Di” also revealed that in the future, there may be music products in collaboration with a colleague when her voice is better. At the present time, her voice has not recovered, so Lynk Lee does not dare to think about collaborating with another singer for fear of dragging down the music career of others. She will try to practice her voice and focus on developing her music career and her own music projects.
The singer revealed that she is very emotional.
Sharing backstage, Lynk Lee said that during her junior high school years, she had a crush on a classmate who sat at the same table. The female singer wrote a 2-page letter to confess her love and the ending was the two words "are you crazy" which made her both sad and embarrassed.
The female singer simply thought that if she liked someone, she should express her feelings and knew for sure that it wouldn't go anywhere, but she still expressed it, not thinking that when she got the answer, she would be so sad.
In addition, when asked about her ideal boyfriend, Lynk Lee confidently said: “Linh needs a simple person, an ordinary person, not someone too famous or with any special talent. Just someone gentle, a little taller than Linh and knows how to care for Linh is enough.”
