Today, January 26, Party Central Committee member, Provincial Party Secretary, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Le Quang Tung visited and presented Tet gifts at the resettlement area of Hai Truong commune, Hai Lang district. Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department Ho Dai Nam also attended.

According to the report of Hai Lang District People's Committee, as of January 25, the total area for which land recovery decisions have been issued, site clearance plans agreed upon, and documents submitted for appraisal to implement the Quang Tri Industrial Park project (phase 1) is 96.05 hectares.
In particular, the locality has issued a decision to reclaim 96.01 hectares of land, with a total compensation and support cost of more than VND 122.29 billion. 31 households have voluntarily demolished their houses. People have also organized the relocation of 403 tombs to hand over the site to the construction unit. Currently, the district's Land Acquisition Council is preparing documents to grant land to the people.

The resettlement area of Hai Truong commune is located in Tan Xuan Tho village, planned with 49 residential plots. Of which, 30 plots are allocated for resettlement land allocation, 19 plots are allocated for cases of land allocation with land use fee collection. Currently, many families have moved to live and built items such as: community cultural house, church, temporary house... in this resettlement area.

After listening to the report on the project implementation from the local authorities and understanding the aspirations of the people in the resettlement area, Provincial Party Secretary Le Quang Tung acknowledged, highly appreciated and expressed gratitude for the sacrifices and contributions of the people for not being afraid of difficulties and hardships, voluntarily demolishing houses and moving tombs to promptly hand over the clean site to the construction unit to implement the project. This is a model for local Party committees and authorities to continue to implement in the coming time.

At the same time, it affirmed that when the Quang Tri Industrial Park project is completed and put into operation, it will create jobs for local children, contributing greatly to the socio-economic development of the province.
The province will accompany and support local Party committees and authorities in building resettlement areas, ensuring that people's lives are more adequate and better than in their old homes. Regarding difficulties and obstacles, the province will direct relevant departments, branches and agencies to organize more effective implementation to meet the urgent needs of the people.

In particular, early construction of public sanitation works; research to remove difficulties in filling land, serving the housing construction needs of the people.
