In a solemn and respectful atmosphere, Provincial Party Secretary Luong Nguyen Minh Triet and the delegation respectfully bowed, observed a moment of silence and offered flowers and incense to commemorate the soldiers of Hai Da Battalion 76 who fought selflessly and heroically sacrificed on the land of Quang Nam - Da Nang ; making an important contribution to the complete liberation of Quang Nam - Da Nang in the spring of 1975.

The Martyrs' Temple of Battalion 76 Hai Da was built in 2016 on an area of ^{​​1,250m2} . This is a place to commemorate the soldiers of Battalion 76 Hai Da - a unit established on May 17, 1973, supporting Hai Phong City for the twinned province of Quang Nam - Da Nang. More than 500 officers and soldiers of the battalion are volunteers from factories, offices, and schools.

During 365 days and nights, Hai Da soldiers and the people of Quang Nam - Da Nang fought hundreds of battles, achieving many outstanding feats. Typically, they destroyed, captured and wounded nearly 1,000 enemies; burned 1 plane, 20 tanks and armored vehicles; destroyed and seized hundreds of tons of weapons, ammunition and many types of military technical equipment of the enemy, etc. However, 96 officers and soldiers of the battalion sacrificed their lives in the war, but only 18 martyrs' remains were found.

Currently, the Martyrs Temple of Battalion 76 Hai Da is a place to worship and pay tribute to the heroes and martyrs of Battalion 76 Hai Da; the officers and soldiers who were Hai Phong's children who participated in the fight and sacrificed in Quang Nam - Da Nang... At the same time, it has become a red address to educate the younger generation about revolutionary traditions.
