Can I get the HPV vaccine if I have white streaks on my cervix?

I am 35 years old and have given birth to a child. A week ago, I went to the gynecologist and had white streaks on my cervix. My regular pap test and HPV test were both negative. I have not yet received the HPV vaccine. With my condition, can I get the HPV vaccine and is it effective?

Hello!

If there are white spots without pap abnormalities and HPV is negative, the prognosis is mild. However, it is best to have a colposcopy 3 months later to check again.

As for HPV vaccination, you can get vaccinated as usual. However, you need to note that even if you have been fully vaccinated against HPV, you still need to have regular cervical cancer screening. Don't be subjective and skip screening!

Wish you always happy and healthy!
