Right from set 1, the superiority belonged to the Vietnamese women's volleyball team. They quickly led 3-0 thanks to attacks from Thanh Thuy and Bich Tuyen.
The Philippines quickly equalized 3-3, but everything was still under the control of the home team.
Not only attacking well, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team also defended effectively. Bich Thuy was always agile in blocking to prevent the Philippines' attacks. In the back row, Khanh Dang and Nguyen Thi Uyen showed good defensive ability.
The Philippines had to use up both time-outs early in set 1. But this did not help much as the Vietnamese women's volleyball team won 25-15.
In set 2, the Philippines played with great effort, creating a tug of war in the early points. There were times when they took the lead 7-5, 9-7.
But in difficult times, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team still found a solution thanks to Bich Tuyen. Her powerful smashes restored order in game 2.
The home team took the lead and then left their opponents far behind and continued to have a 25-17 victory in set 2.

At the start of set 3, the Philippines almost gave up. They could not resist and continuously lost points. The home team had another easy victory 25-14, thereby winning the AVC Nations Cup (formerly AVC Challenge Cup) for the third consecutive time.
This victory also helped the Vietnamese women's volleyball team win a ticket to the 2026 Asian Championship.
In the final match, Bich Tuyen scored 18 points, while Thanh Thuy also contributed 15 points. The remaining attacker, Nguyen Thi Uyen, got 10 points, while the middle attacker, Bich Thuy, also got 9 points.
Meanwhile, the top scorer on the Philippines side was opposite number Alyssa Jae Solomon with only 8 points.
