On this anniversary, the newspaper is honored to receive a congratulatory message from the Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bui Thanh Son, addressed to all staff, reporters, and editors, acknowledging the tireless efforts of the newspaper's team in promoting the image of Vietnam as a peaceful , beautiful, friendly, and rapidly developing country, a safe and attractive destination, and a country with dynamic, creative, and hospitable people; while also contributing to building consensus and strengthening the growing support of the people for the country's foreign affairs.
Appreciating the significant contributions of the newspaper to the overall achievements of the foreign affairs and diplomacy sector, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister shared his pleasure that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' press agency is among the newspapers with the highest reach nationwide, according to the weekly assessment of the Ministry of Information and Communications .
Writing for the World and Vietnam Newspaper while working abroad, Lê Hải Bình, Alternate Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party and Editor-in-Chief of the Communist Magazine , expressed his confidence in the newspaper, stating that it "has risen strongly, using difficulties and challenges as motivation, taking service to the Fatherland and the cause of foreign affairs as its goal, and gradually positioning itself as the official press agency of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a prestigious foreign affairs newspaper of the Ministry and the country." Evaluating the past 35 years as "a journey full of emotions," Mr. Lê Hải Bình looked forward to the newspaper, with its "warriors" who play two roles – diplomats and journalists – continuing to write its own proud story of development and making a worthy contribution to the common mission of foreign affairs information work in the new era.

Despite her busy schedule at the end of the year, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Thi Thu Hang dedicated a special interview to the newspaper, sharing insightful perspectives on its 35-year journey, from a specialized research journal to a reputable newspaper with a strong position in the hearts of readers and within the journalistic community. The Deputy Minister expressed high expectations for the newspaper's future, emphasizing the need for self-transformation, both contributing to the overall work of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and fulfilling its own specific tasks, aiming to increase its popularity both domestically and internationally.
Ambassador Nguyen Phuong Nga, former Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and former President of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations, wrote an article recounting beautiful memories and profound impressions of the passionate, dedicated, and selfless work ethic of the Editorial Board and the reporters and staff of the newspaper. According to the Ambassador, it is this love and commitment to the profession and to the newspaper, along with the concerns and determination for innovation of the journalists, that has provided the motivation, inspiration, and strength to help the newspaper overcome challenges, maintain its direction, innovate, and continue to develop.
The newspaper received practical support and numerous telegrams and articles sharing memories, thoughts, and expectations regarding the newspaper's partnership in foreign affairs propaganda from Ambassadors and Heads of Vietnamese representative offices abroad, such as: the Permanent Mission of Vietnam to the United Nations, the Mission of Vietnam to the European Union, the Vietnamese Embassies in Japan, Thailand, Brunei, Belarus, Germany, Hungary, Sweden, Finland, Poland, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Angola, Mozambique, Nigeria, Tanzania, the Vietnam Economic and Cultural Office in Taipei…
In their congratulatory messages, the Ambassadors and Heads of Foreign Diplomatic Missions in Vietnam also expressed their desire for cooperation and their expectations for the newspaper's strong and sustainable development in information and communication work, contributing to promoting relations between Vietnam and other countries and partners. These included the Ambassador of Palestine – Head of the Diplomatic Mission, and the Ambassadors of Russia, Japan, India, Norway, Belgium, Saudi Arabia, Ireland, and others.
The interest shown by leaders of the Foreign Affairs Departments, scholars, experts, partner businesses, organizations, as well as former journalists, officials, and colleagues, towards the newspaper on this occasion was also expressed through messages, letters, and gifts... full of love, trust, and expectations for even greater growth in the future for the press agency of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
It can be said that the support, love, and trust of friends both domestically and internationally are clear evidence of the role, position, and steady development of the World and Vietnam Newspaper in fulfilling the political tasks assigned by the Party, the State, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The past 35 years have been a journey of continuous innovation and development for the World and Vietnam Newspaper . The newspaper's staff has overcome numerous difficulties and challenges, remaining steadfast in its goal of informing and promoting the foreign policy of the Party and State, contributing to showcasing the image of Vietnam and its people to the world.
The congratulations, shared thoughts, heartfelt messages, and even suggestions received over the past few days have been a tremendous source of encouragement for all the staff, editors, reporters, and employees of the newspaper. Through these messages, the newspaper has become more deeply aware of its pioneering mission as a revolutionary journalist on the ideological front, a powerful source of internal strength for the development of the diplomatic sector, the country, and the nation.
The awareness of the role of diplomats and journalists in the country's foreign affairs information work was further strengthened during the "Back to the Roots" trip of the newspaper's staff, coinciding with their anniversary, to the National Historical Site of the first ceremony of presenting credentials in Vietnam and the Huynh Thuc Khang School of Journalism – the first training institution for revolutionary Vietnamese journalism. The journalists of World and Vietnam Newspaper became even more proud of the country's traditions and the diplomatic sector, and gained a deeper understanding of their responsibilities as journalists in the new context.
Entering a new "age" on the eve of the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the Diplomatic Service (August 28, 1945 - August 28, 2025) and the 100th anniversary of the Vietnamese Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025), the World and Vietnam Newspaper , with the unity and efforts of all its staff, reporters, and editors, and the appreciation and trust of readers near and far, will continue to uphold the spirit of dedication, dare to surpass itself, mark new successes, contribute to the overall success of the Diplomatic Service and the country, and live up to the expectations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs leadership and our esteemed readers.
