Highlighting that 2025 is a year of special significance for the country with many major political events of the Party and the nation, the President requested that the Party Committee - Command and officers and soldiers of the Special Forces continue to thoroughly understand and seriously and effectively implement the resolutions and directives of the Party, the State, the Central Military Commission, and the Ministry of National Defense on military and national defense, focusing on Resolution No. 44-NQ/TW of the Central Committee of the Party (13th term) on the Strategy for National Defense in the new situation.

The President noted that the Special Forces should pay attention to building a clean and strong Party organization, linked to a comprehensively strong unit; and at the same time, effectively implement President Ho Chi Minh's instructions to the special forces: "Special forces means special work, special honor, requires special effort, special trust, any task, any special task must be completed and completed well. Any special difficulty must be overcome and resolved successfully..."

The President also requested that the unit continue to closely coordinate with the Border Guard, Coast Guard, Public Security forces and relevant agencies and units to effectively carry out the task of combat readiness to prevent and counter "peaceful evolution," terrorism, and subversive riots; promptly and effectively handle complex situations that arise, contributing to maintaining political security, social order and safety; and firmly protecting the independence, sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity of the sacred Fatherland…

Honored and proud of its glorious tradition of 58 years of building, fighting, and maturing, the President expressed his confidence and hope that, in the new revolutionary period, the Special Forces will continue to uphold its traditions, constantly strive to excel, and achieve even greater victories and accomplishments.
