VOV.VN - Binh Dinh will have two stations on the North-South high-speed railway line that is expected to be invested in in the near future. This information was just stated by Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc at a meeting between the National Assembly Delegation of Binh Dinh province and the Fatherland Front and its member organizations before the 8th session of the 15th National Assembly on the afternoon of September 30.
Here, the representative of the National Assembly Delegation of Binh Dinh province announced the expected content of the program of the 8th session of the 15th National Assembly; The representative of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Dinh province reported on the synthesis of voters' opinions and recommendations to the National Assembly. Since the beginning of 2024, the socio -economic situation of Binh Dinh province has had many positive results. By the end of August 2024, the industrial production index of Binh Dinh province increased by 9.49% over the same period; in which, the manufacturing and processing industry and the mining industry increased by over 10%; export turnover increased by 13.7% over the same period. Binh Dinh province has focused on solving difficulties, removing obstacles and creating favorable conditions for production and business activities, especially industrial production projects preparing to come into operation.

Currently, localities in Binh Dinh province have been transferring district-level health centers under the Department of Health to the district-level People's Committee. Binh Dinh province requests the National Assembly and the Government to direct relevant ministries and branches to promptly issue documents guiding the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of district-level health centers to ensure the organization, management and implementation of activities of grassroots health facilities.

These are people who participated in the resistance war from 40 to 50 years ago, some of whom have healed but have not yet been resolved with related policies. Therefore, a representative of the Association of Former Youth Volunteers of this province requested that competent authorities consider and promptly resolve the shortcomings in handling the 120 backlog dossiers. Regarding these 120 backlog dossiers, Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc requested the Provincial People's Committee to prepare dossiers and send them to the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs for further consideration, ensuring the rights of those who participated in the resistance war.
Mr. Ho Duc Phuc, Deputy Prime Minister, spoke at the conference. Also at this meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc informed that in the near future, Phu Cat airport will be upgraded to an international airport along with a series of projects such as the deep-water port of Binh Dinh province and the North-South expressway. Notably, the investment in the construction of the North-South high-speed railway from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City has been approved by the Party Central Committee. When the National Assembly decides on the investment policy, the Government will establish a pre-feasibility investment project and start construction. “We are very excited to have two stations in Binh Dinh province. Few provinces have two stations. The long-distance route with two North-South high-speed railway stations in Binh Dinh will create favorable conditions for development. The Government is trying to focus on developing high-speed railways and renovating existing railways so that the current railways are freight railways, high-speed railways are for carrying passengers and special goods,” said Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc.
