The Politburo appointed comrade Nguyen Dinh Trung to hold the position of Secretary of the Hue City Party Committee.

(Chinhphu.vn) - On the morning of October 17, at the headquarters of the Hue City Party Committee, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee held a conference to announce the Politburo's Decision on personnel work.

The conference was attended by comrade Le Minh Hung, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organizing Committee, and leaders of central and local departments, ministries and branches.

At the conference, the representative of the Central Organizing Committee announced the Politburo's Decision appointing comrade Nguyen Dinh Trung, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee, to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the Hue City Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.

At the same time, the Politburo issued a decision to transfer and appoint comrade Nguyen Van Phuong, Secretary of the Hue City Party Committee, to hold the position of Secretary of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.

Speaking at the conference, Head of the Central Organizing Committee Le Minh Hung congratulated comrade Nguyen Dinh Trung on being trusted, mobilized and appointed by the Politburo to hold the position of Secretary of the Hue City Party Committee, and expressed his belief that with his experience, capacity and expertise, comrade Nguyen Dinh Trung will excellently complete the assigned tasks.

The Head of the Central Organizing Committee requested that in his new position, comrade Nguyen Dinh Trung and the Party Committee, government and people of Hue city closely follow the direction of the Politburo, focus on efforts, solidarity and determination to successfully implement the set goals and tasks, contributing to building Hue city to develop comprehensively and sustainably.

In his acceptance speech, comrade Nguyen Dinh Trung expressed his deep gratitude to the Politburo, the Secretariat, the Central Organizing Committee, General Secretary To Lam and other Party and State leaders for their attention and trust in assigning him the important responsibility of being the head of the Hue City Party Committee - a locality with an important strategic position in terms of national defense and security, a rich cultural and historical tradition and many potentials and advantages for socio-economic development.

New Secretary of Hue City Party Committee Nguyen Dinh Trung affirmed that he will make every effort, constantly study, practice, promote the sense of responsibility, continue and promote the achievements and enthusiasm of previous generations of leaders, continue to promote the revolutionary tradition, the spirit of solidarity, dynamism, creativity, and bring Hue city to develop quickly and sustainably.
