Nearly 20 days after the flood, due to slow water receding in Kim Van village (Van Lang commune), many houses are still deeply flooded. Here, 36 households were affected, so far 14 households have returned to clean up their houses, initially stabilizing their lives, while 22 households are still staying in tents temporarily set up by the Provincial Military Command.

The working delegation of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Military Command delivered gifts from the Ministry of National Defense to households in Lung Sien village, Vinh Thong commune.

In Lung Sien village, Vinh Thong commune, the flood submerged the houses and crops of 14 households, the village cultural house and the kindergarten. The water has now receded, but it has left behind heavy damage to the people.

Faced with that situation, the Thai Nguyen Provincial Military Command continued to direct the Defense Command of Area 1 - Duc Xuan from October 22 to quickly dispatch 26 officers and soldiers to Lung Sien village to continue helping people clean up the environment, repair houses and livestock barns.

Officers and soldiers of the Defense Command of Region 1 - Duc Xuan help rebuild houses for people in Lung Sien village.

In the short term, the Thai Nguyen Provincial Military Command will help the people of the two villages find temporary accommodation to stabilize their lives. However, in the long term, resettlement plans are being researched and implemented by all levels and sectors as soon as possible.

With a sense of responsibility towards the people and practical experience in natural disaster prevention and control, officers and soldiers of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Military Command will continue to accompany the people to overcome the current difficulties and gradually stabilize their lives.
