Three inspection teams will conduct inspections of project owners, project management boards, and agencies/units assigned to implement the project.
The decision also specifies the inspection period: From the project's commencement until May 30, 2023, with an inspection deadline of 15 working days from the date the decision was implemented (June 13). This means the inspection teams are responsible for carrying out the inspection and reporting the results within June.
The inspection teams will examine eight key areas, including: land clearance; preparation and approval of overall and detailed construction schedules; preparation and approval of construction drawings and construction organization methods.
Mobilization of personnel, equipment, and machinery by construction contractors and supervision consultants; and the situation regarding the supply of materials.
Progress of acceptance, payment, and disbursement; Procedures for acceptance, payment, and final settlement; Organizational model, hierarchical structure, and delegation of authority for project implementation by the investor and project management board.
Phase 2 of the North-South Expressway project is divided into 12 independently operating component projects, including the sections: Ha Tinh - Quang Tri (267km), Quang Ngai - Nha Trang (353km), and Can Tho - Ca Mau (109km), passing through 12 provinces and cities.
Across all 12 sections, the phased investment includes a roadbed width of 17m with 4 lanes, and a design speed of 100-120km/h.
