Appointing Colonel Cao Minh Huyen as Director of Lao Cai Provincial Police

At the ceremony, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security Luong Tam Quang presented the Decision of the Minister of Public Security to transfer Colonel Luu Hong Quang, Director of Lao Cai Provincial Police, to the position of Director of the Ministry of Public Security's External Affairs Department; at the same time, transfer and appoint Colonel Cao Minh Huyen, Deputy Director of Nghe An Provincial Police, to the position of Director of Lao Cai Provincial Police from May 8, 2023.

On behalf of the Central Public Security Party Committee and the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, Comrade Luong Tam Quang congratulated Colonels Luu Hong Quang and Cao Minh Huyen on their new assignments. He believes that in their new positions, the two Colonels will continue to promote their capacity and expertise, and excellently complete all assigned tasks. In particular, Colonel Cao Minh Huyen needs to quickly approach the area, promote his capacity and experience, and together with the Party Committee and leaders of Lao Cai Provincial Public Security under the leadership and direction of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, and Provincial People's Committee, continue to closely coordinate with departments, branches, and localities in the province; maintain internal solidarity and unity of the collective to well perform the task of protecting national security, ensuring social order and safety, and building a clean and strong Lao Cai Provincial Public Security, contributing to the successful implementation of the task of local socio -economic development.

Speaking at the ceremony, Party Central Committee member and Lao Cai Provincial Party Secretary Dang Xuan Phong emphasized that the transfer and appointment of comrades to higher positions shows the trust of the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security and local Party committees and authorities. Lao Cai Provincial Party Secretary Dang Xuan Phong believes that no matter what position they hold, they will fully promote their capacity, experience and responsibility, contributing to the overall development of the province and the country.

Lao Cai Provincial Party Secretary Dang Xuan Phong asked Colonel Cao Minh Huyen to quickly get acquainted with the new working area, maximize his capacity, strengths, and practical experience to lead the implementation of professional tasks. At the same time, he actively advised the Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee and People's Committee on new and creative solutions and approaches in harmoniously combining the task of ensuring security, social order and safety with economic - cultural - social development in the area.
