Ministry of Defense rewards forces implementing project QN 225.2

Major General Hoang Huu Chien, Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of the Border Guard, presented awards from the Ministry of National Defense to two groups with outstanding achievements.

Awarding of the Border Guard Command to 2 groups with outstanding achievements in implementing the Project.

Previously, on March 14, the Drug and Crime Prevention Task Force of the Quang Ninh Provincial Border Guard coordinated with the Hoanh Mo Border Guard Station to dismantle a ring that organized illegal immigration and emigration, led by Lac A Thin, born in 1979, residing in Huc Dong Commune, Binh Lieu District.

The Border Guard force arrested 4 people in the ring, along with 5 Chinese people who were illegally brought by the gang. Thin confessed to organizing illegal immigration to receive 3 million VND as a salary per person.
