Start a business with a roasted coffee production model

In 2018, after quitting his job at a coffee processing company, with the desire to bring high-quality coffee products to consumers, Mr. Le Trong Tuan (Binh Thuan commune, Buon Ho town) decided to invest hundreds of millions of dong to buy a roasting machine and experiment to make coffee products with rich, unforgettable flavors.

In order to listen more to customers' opinions and want customers to witness the process of making a cup of coffee, in 2021, Mr. Tuan decided to open a coffee shop called Le Gia Tay Nguyen Coffee in Buon Ho town. Coming here, customers will feel the clean coffee products with their own senses of hearing, seeing, smelling, and tasting.

Mr. Tuan shared: "Although I have worked in the coffee industry for a long time, to have stable orders like today, from the beginning, I had to spend a lot of time searching for information, researching and learning from the experience of predecessors about the process of producing pure roasted coffee, from choosing coffee beans that meet standard size and quality to the packaging process that meets food safety standards."

Mr. Tuan personally checks the quality of the new batch of coffee.

Mr. Tuan's coffee products have gradually become known to many consumers and have a foothold in the market thanks to their good quality. In 2023, his family decided to establish Le Gia Tay Nguyen TPM Company Limited. Currently, the company processes an average of 1 ton of roasted and ground coffee per month, with prices ranging from 200,000 - 260,000 VND/kg, bringing in good revenue. In December 2024, Mr. Le Trong Tuan's roasted and ground coffee beans were the first product of Binh Thuan commune to be recognized as meeting 3-star OCOP standards.

In addition, from the production and processing of coffee products, the company also creates connections, helping to consume agricultural products for local households, helping them gradually change the traditional harvesting method. For example, the family of Mrs. Ngo Thi Thao (Cha La village, Binh Thuan commune, Buon Ho town) has 3 hectares of coffee linked to supply products to Le Gia Tay Nguyen TPM Company Limited. She was instructed on how to take care of the garden to achieve higher productivity; at the same time, by only harvesting when the fruit is ripe, the product is sold at a higher price than selling coffee picked in a bucket as before. Thanks to that, the family's income has increased significantly.

Mr. Tuan's family's roasted coffee beans have achieved 3-star OCOP standards by December 2024.

Mr. Tuan plans to invest more in production facilities and machinery to launch new products; open a coffee farm to attract tourists to experience and participate in the production stages to better understand the process of creating the company's coffee products.
