In parallel with the construction of 5G stations and core networks, the plan also focuses on deploying an IoT device management platform; developing initial IoT applications such as environmental monitoring, asset management, and production line optimization.
Funds for implementing the Plan will be mobilized from telecommunications enterprises.
The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Science and Technology to preside over, monitor, and urge telecommunications enterprises to deploy 5G infrastructure development and synthesize and report implementation results to the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Provincial People's Committee before December 25, 2025.
The Department of Construction and the Management Board of Industrial Parks and Economic Zones of the province are responsible for guiding and inspecting the construction and installation of infrastructure to ensure planning and reviewing and simplifying administrative procedures related to the licensing of construction and installation of telecommunications and IoT infrastructure.
