(DN) - On the afternoon of October 20, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee Le Truong Son worked with Dinh Quan commune on the preparation of documents for the Investment Project on eco-tourism, resort and entertainment in the forest environment rental area under the Tan Phu Protective Forest Management Board and cultural and social work in the commune.

Also attending were Provincial Party Committee member, Party Secretary, Chairman of Dinh Quan Commune People's Council Nguyen Cao Cuong and leaders of departments, branches and localities.

At the working session, the representative of Dinh Quan Commune People's Committee reported the results of implementing the direction of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Truong Son at the working session to listen to the report on the preparation of the dossier for the Ecotourism , Resort and Entertainment Investment Project in the forest environment rental area under the Tan Phu Protective Forest Management Board and Da Chong Scenic Area on September 24, 2025.

During the implementation of the Ecotourism, Resort and Entertainment Investment Project in the forest environment rental area under the Tan Phu Protective Forest Management Board and Da Chong Scenic Area, the People's Committee of Dinh Quan Commune reviewed the procedures and bases for implementation according to the provisions of law; the relocation of households from the commercial and service planning land area to implement the Ecotourism, Resort and Entertainment Project for the period 2021-2030; the work of preserving and promoting the value of relics, history, culture, scenic spots, cultural works, etc. At the same time, it reported difficulties and problems and made recommendations and proposed a number of solutions.

At the meeting, leaders of several departments and branches gave opinions related to site clearance, updating planning and strategy for developing Dong Nai's forest ecotourism.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Truong Son commented: The Thac Mai - Bau Nuoc Soup area, the planned development area for the Ecotourism, Resort and Entertainment Project, is a unique destination of Dong Nai province and the Southeast region. In fact, this location has attracted tourists for many years. Therefore, the locality is required to quickly carry out the necessary procedures to continue implementing the project, fully promoting the potential and strengths of the locality.

For Da Chong scenic spot, Dinh Quan commune needs to complete planning procedures soon, needs to have a strategic vision in development to exploit the strengths of the scenic spot. In the process of building products, it is necessary to pay attention to building historical stories, images, etc. It is recommended that the locality urgently promote and implement projects to ensure proper and strict procedures, and that forest owners carefully review contracts to ensure signing in accordance with the provisions of law.
Regarding the local proposals and recommendations, the provincial leaders acknowledged and highly agreed. The goal this year must have specific results. Departments and branches support the commune to quickly implement the project. The province is ready to support the locality to soon implement the project.

The Ecotourism, resort and entertainment project at Tan Phu Protective Forest Management Board for the period 2021-2030 was approved by Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee under the Ecotourism, resort and entertainment project for the period 2021-2030 in 2023. Currently, Tan Phu Protective Forest Management Board has signed a forest environment lease contract with 10 tourist spots in Dinh Quan commune, with an area of ​​over 417 hectares. Up to now, forest owners and forest environment lessees are carrying out the following procedures related to issues of planning adjustment and supplementation; support for site clearance, resettlement, etc.

For the Da Chong National Scenic Area, the work of planning for conservation and promotion of scenic relics, on that basis, calling for investors to participate in developing tourism in the Da Chong Scenic Area in accordance with legal regulations. The People's Committee of Dinh Quan Commune is adjusting the land use planning and the conservation planning of the Da Chong Scenic Area, soon putting the project into operation in the near future.
