Hoang Mai Ward Trade Union has 73 affiliated grassroots trade unions with more than 4,000 union members. Immediately after its establishment, the Ward Trade Union actively advised the Party Committee, coordinated with the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations of the ward to deploy some initial contents on trade union work and the movement of workers, civil servants and laborers (CNVCLĐ), associated with the task of socio-economic development in the locality.

The ward union has mobilized union members and workers to participate in patriotic emulation movements, respond to the campaign "All people unite to build a cultural life", participate in maintaining order and security for workers in the area, and at the same time take care of protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers.

With the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Innovation - Development", for the 2025-2030 term, Hoang Mai Ward Trade Union identified 3 breakthroughs, 10 specific targets and 6 main tasks and solutions.

In particular, the Ward Union has performed well its role as a representative to protect the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers; taken good care of union members and workers through promoting and replicating practical models such as "Tet Sum Vay", "Union Shelter", quality of shift meals, charity bus trips, union member welfare programs, etc.; innovated and improved the effectiveness of emulation movements, actively contributing to the socio -economic development of the ward, the capital and the country, etc.

Speaking at the Congress, Party Secretary and Chairman of the People's Council of Hoang Mai Ward Nguyen Xuan Linh suggested that in the coming time, the Ward Trade Union should focus on propaganda, develop a specific action program, closely linked with the Resolution of the Ward Party Congress; promote digital transformation, promote modern communication channels, promptly grasp the thoughts and aspirations of workers. The Ward Trade Union needs to improve the quality of patriotic emulation movements, associated with green economic development and environmental protection; innovate working methods, develop union members, consolidate a strong trade union organization, and build a team of brave and dedicated cadres.

The Congress announced the Decision of the City Labor Federation on appointing the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Inspection Committee, key positions of the Hoang Mai Ward Trade Union, term I, 2025-2030, and the list of delegates to attend the 18th City Trade Union Congress, term 2025-2030.

Comrade Tran Thu Hien was appointed to hold the position of Chairman of Hoang Mai Ward Trade Union.
