On the afternoon of October 20, the Women's Union of the Dak Lak Provincial Border Guard Command held a congress for the 2025-2030 term.

Attending the congress were Colonel Nguyen Van Linh, Deputy Commander of the Provincial Military Command, Commander of the Provincial Border Guard Command; Colonel Do Quang Tham, Deputy Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command, Political Commissar of the Provincial Border Guard Command; representatives of relevant agencies and units, and cadres and women's union members.

In the period of 2021 - 2025, the work of the Association and the women's movement of the Provincial Border Guard has had many positive changes, achieving comprehensive results.

The Association has mobilized and maintained savings models such as "Piggy Bank" and "Member Savings" to support members in difficult circumstances; maintained 3 "Mutual Savings" groups, provided 48 interest-free loans to officials and members; advised and proposed superiors to support the construction of a "Comrades' Warm Home" for 1 member in difficulty.

The Women's Union of the Provincial Border Guard Command has also advised on organizing more than 150 social security programs, giving more than 15,000 gifts, 3,250 free meals, 20 "zero dong" clothing, book and notebook stalls, 4 breeding cows, 30 stalls of necessities, 10 food stalls, 3 Border Shelters, 9 Great Solidarity houses, and repairing 1 house for women in especially difficult circumstances.

Donated 1,000 national flags, 2 clean water wells, 65 Ao Dai sets to ethnic minority women; 150 bicycles, 3,000 notebooks and pens; organized legal dissemination for more than 2,000 students; donated 30 life jackets; donated 1 water purifier; provided free medical examination and medicine to 2,000 people.

Participated in supporting 84 children in the programs "Helping children go to school", "Adopted children of Border Guard Station", "Godmother"...

With the spirit of "Solidarity, democracy, creativity, innovation", the Congress passed the resolution for the 2025 - 2030 term, focusing on the following targets: 100% of association officials are trained in women's work; 100% of members are equipped with digital skills, participating in safe interactions in the digital environment.

The Congress announced the decision of the Provincial Border Guard Command Party Committee to appoint the Executive Committee of the Provincial Border Guard Command Women's Union for the 2025-2030 term, consisting of 3 comrades. Major Nguyen Thi Yen holds the position of Chairwoman of the Provincial Border Guard Command Women's Union.

On this occasion, the Party Committee of the Provincial Border Guard Command awarded certificates of merit to 4 individuals for their outstanding achievements in the work of the association and women's movement in the period 2021 - 2025.
