
Scene of BT-50 pickup truck on fire - Photo cut from clip
On the evening of October 20, the fire prevention and rescue police force of Dak Lak Province Police said they were handling the scene of a pickup truck fire on Ha Lan Pass, through Cu Bao Ward, Dak Lak Province.
According to initial information, at around 7:00 p.m. the same day, a Mazda BT-50 pickup truck driven by Mr. Vu Van Tuan (residing in Hai Phong City) was traveling on National Highway 14 in the direction of Buon Ma Thuot - Gia Nghia, when it reached the Ha Lan Pass area, it suddenly caught fire.
The fire started from the front of the car and quickly spread to the back. Due to the steep terrain and strong winds, the fire quickly spread, engulfing the entire car.
Upon receiving the news, the Fire Fighting Team of Zone 2 of the Fire Prevention, Fighting and Rescue Police Department of Dak Lak Province Police dispatched two fire trucks and 12 officers and soldiers to the scene to put out the fire.
By around 7:30 p.m., the fire was under control. Although there were no casualties, the car was severely damaged.
