On the evening of October 20th, the fire and rescue police force of Dak Lak province announced that they were handling the scene of a pickup truck fire on Ha Lan pass, in the Cu Bao ward of Dak Lak province.
According to initial information, at approximately 7 PM on the same day, a Mazda BT-50 pickup truck driven by Mr. Vu Van Tuan (residing in Hai Phong City) was traveling on National Highway 14 in the direction of Buon Ma Thuot - Gia Nghia when it suddenly caught fire in the Ha Lan Pass area.
The fire originated at the front of the vehicle and quickly spread to the rear. Due to the steep terrain and strong winds, the flames spread rapidly, engulfing the entire vehicle.
Upon receiving the report, the Firefighting Team 2 of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Dak Lak province dispatched two fire trucks and 12 officers and soldiers to the scene to extinguish the fire.
By approximately 7:30 PM, the fire was brought under control. Although the fire did not cause any casualties, the vehicle was severely damaged.
