More than 82,000 people participate in "Digital Literacy" classes

In recent times, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee has directed all levels of the Youth Union to promote the implementation of the "Digital Literacy for the People" movement with many practical activities, projects and tasks contributing to raising awareness and digital capacity of the community. All levels of the Youth Union have strengthened propaganda and popularization of basic knowledge of information technology for people and young people. Organize programs to disseminate knowledge and skills on safe internet use for people such as: protecting personal information, avoiding online scams, distinguishing and preventing fake news and harmful content. Organize many free courses on digital skills; especially applying AI technology for union members, young people, students through direct courses in localities or free online classes. From February 28 to May 12, 2025, youth volunteer teams across the province organized nearly 300 "Digital Education for the People" classes, attracting more than 82,000 people to participate. Thereby, helping people get acquainted with and proficiently use computers, smartphones and social networking platforms. 100% of youth union bases in the province have coordinated with the commune police to support and guide union members, youth and people to install VNeID software and make cashless payments. The Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee has coordinated with the Youth Union of the Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group to inaugurate 5 free wifi hotspots in districts and cities, facilitating the implementation of the "Digital Education for the People" movement.

Provincial Youth Union leaders informed the results of implementing the "Digital Education for All" movement in the province in 2025.

At the conference, delegates participated in exchanges and discussions to propose solutions to overcome difficulties and limitations in implementing digital transformation movements and activities.

Speaking at the conference, the Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department acknowledged and highly appreciated the results achieved by the Youth Union at all levels in the past time; at the same time, he requested that cadres and members continue to promote the spirit of volunteering to effectively implement the "Digital Education for the People" movement combined with the fight against wrong and hostile views in cyberspace; especially focusing on promoting propaganda, guiding members, youth and people to participate in giving opinions on the Draft Amendments and Supplements to the 2013 Constitution on the VNeID application, the National Assembly Electronic Information Portal, and the Government Electronic Information Portal. Collectives and individuals continue to apply information technology and digital transformation in performing tasks at agencies and units.
