Implementing the program "Building a strong Team, moving forward together to the Youth Union", the Youth Union Council at all levels in the province has directed the teams to improve the quality of activities, focusing on concretizing the contents of the program "Preparatory Team Members" associated with specific training criteria such as:educating about traditions, behavioral culture, life skills, awareness of law compliance for team members... The teams have carried out many propaganda activities, educating about the history and traditions of the nation, the Youth Union, and the Team through activities such as meeting historical witnesses; history research competitions; organizing trips to red addresses; participating in the restoration and preservation of historical, cultural, revolutionary relics, scenic spots, cemeteries, and martyrs' memorials in the locality...

Over the past 5 years (2020 - 2025), the Youth Union at all levels has organized over 1,067 activities to show gratitude, visit Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, war invalids, martyrs' families, and families with meritorious services; supported over 90,000 children in difficult circumstances with thousands of gifts and scholarships; built 4 "Red Scarf Houses", 3 "Happy Houses", 10 "Beautiful Schools for Children"; 3 "Kitchens for Children"; 1 "Boarding House for Children"; 2 "Toilets for Children"... with a total value of the works and tasks of over 20 billion VND.

Effectively implementing the campaign "Vietnamese children compete to follow Uncle Ho's 5 teachings" associated with the new education program, the Provincial Youth Union Council directed 100% of the teams to perform the flag-raising ceremony at the beginning of the week according to regulations and organize flag-raising activities with the theme "Every week a beautiful story, a good book, a shining example" for 252,965 children and teenagers, aiming to educate, arouse and foster love for the homeland, country, love for compatriots, love, share and help each other, especially those in difficult circumstances. The teams have organized exchanges and twinning between teams in urban areas and teams in remote areas. In the period of 2020 - 2025, the whole province had 8 teams organizing exchange and twinning activities with the participation of 803 children; 11,034 pairs of friends helping each other in their studies; 100% of the teams organized 1,495 activities on the theme "Building beautiful friendships, saying no to school violence" with over 250,000 children participating.

The movement "Brave Hero of a Thousand Good Deeds" has encouraged and motivated teenagers and children to strive to study, practice and participate in social activities to become good children, good students, good team members, good children of Uncle Ho. At the same time, it has contributed to improving the quality of activities, building the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneers Organization increasingly stronger. There have been 2,197 children honored as "Brave Hero of a Thousand Good Deeds" at the inter-team level, 65 children honored as "Brave Hero of a Thousand Good Deeds" at the district level, 31 children honored as "Brave Hero of a Thousand Good Deeds" at the provincial level, 8 children honored as "Brave Hero of a Thousand Good Deeds" at the provincial level; over 200,000 children honored as Good Children of Uncle Ho at all levels; 70 children honored as "Little Soldiers of Dien Bien" at the provincial level.

The "Small Plan" movement is maintained and implemented through the following models: "Picking up fallen corn kernels", "Collecting firewood", "Collecting scrap paper and plastic bottles", "Raising piggy banks", "Charity rice jars", "Vegetable gardens for children"... contributing to building the grassroots team fund, building young projects and works, the whole province has built 1,340 young projects and works with a total cost of over 2 billion VND. 100% of the teams effectively implemented emulation movements for learning according to each theme associated with major holidays and important anniversaries of the homeland and the country such as: "Good score flowers", "10 score flowers", "Clean notebooks, beautiful writing", "Thousands of good deeds"; 100% of the teams maintained the model of "Creative experience recess" with 287,670 young people participating; through district and provincial level competitions, the whole province had 29 prizes at the national "Creative youth and children" competition. During the summer holidays, the whole province organized 6,035 summer activities for 120,048 young people. At the same time, it continued to consolidate and develop various types of cultural, artistic, sports clubs, and young propaganda teams in schools, attracting over 70,000 young people to participate.

The Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneers Team in the province has gradually grown strong in both quality and quantity. The province currently has 307 teams with more than 88,000 team members and children. The work of developing team members and recruiting new team members has been focused on, the form of recruiting team members has been innovated, in the period 2020 - 2025, 36,802 new team members have been recruited. Every year, more than 18,000 child stars register for the "Preparatory Team Member" program. Promoting children's participation rights, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee and the Provincial Team Council organize propaganda on the Law on Children and legal documents on children with over 400,000 children participating; organize 4 youth propaganda teams festival programs on preventing and combating drowning, accidents and injuries; preventing and combating child abuse and violence. Coordinate meetings and training for official delegations participating in the first mock session of the "Children's National Assembly" in 2023 and the second session in 2024; organize to collect children's opinions on the topics of the two sessions with 69,947 children participating...

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Chairwoman of the Provincial Youth Union Council Nong Thi Nhung said: In the past time, the Provincial Youth Union Council has focused on directing the building of a strong Team in terms of organization and movement. In particular, it focuses on training skills, expertise, improving the quality of team leaders and team commanders; creatively implementing Team movements associated with the professional work of the education sector, in line with the development trend of society. To build a strong Team in terms of movement, the Youth Union Councils at all levels regularly organize extracurricular activities, visits to historical sites; research competitions; seminars; meetings with historical witnesses for team members. Thereby contributing to fostering patriotism, national pride, helping them practice their sense of learning, cultivating morality to become good team members, good children of Uncle Ho.
